Provider Consortium
EveryChild hosts a Provider Consortium of Texas organizations who share values consistent with Shared Commitments who want to link with other providers who also share those values. Members agree to work collaboratively in the following ways:
Consortium mission
To use our collective knowledge and experience to provide practical insights to decision-makers and each other that will build the state’s capacity to assure family life for children with disabilities.
Goals
- Further the systemic expansion of family-based care for children with disabilities in Texas
- Promote best practices in family support, alternate family recruitment and preparation, and careful transition from residential facility care to family life
- Build a network of providers who share a commitment to supporting family life for children with disabilities
Activities
- Identify and join forces to further mutual interests
- Share effective strategies and tools
- Pool resources to increase impact and influence
- Sponsor joint trainings and events to build capacity
- Mentor other agencies seeking to offer or improve family-based care in their business model and operations
EveryChild hosts regular Provider Consortium meetings in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and the Dallas-Ft.Worth area. Consortium members can go to the Provider Consortium Login for updates about activities.
